In association with the Wild Trout Trust, Fly Fishing Breaks and Orvis, spend two days at Caer Beris Manor with the 'Wild Trout Experience'.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to fish a river for wild trout and grayling under the tuition of expert fishing guides and conservationists.
The break is aimed at people who have experience of fishing still waters and would like to learn how to fish for wild trout in rivers. It is not aimed a beginners - you do need to know how to cast a fly line and have some fishing experience.
Specialist top-class river rods are available to borrow from Orvis for the day.
The guide team will be led by Pat O’Reilly, well known fishing guide and author of ‘Match the Hatch’ and Vice President of the Wild Trout Trust, supported by Sue Parker, Kim Tribe and Andrew Cartwright.
Arriving on Sunday Sept 16th in time for tea. There will be an introductory talk by Pat O’Reilly on wild trout, their habitat and behaviour, followed by a 3-course dinner. Breakfast on Monday morning will be followed by meeting the guides before moving off to the local rivers to fish for the day (packed lunch included).
On Monday evening it's time to swap experiences in the bar, an informal ‘question and answer’ with Pat O’ Reilly and Sue Parker, and then enjoy dinner.
Additional fishing can be arranged for Sunday afternoon and Tuesday, with or without guides.
